If you have a room that just won't stay warm, or an inexplicable rise in your heating bills, call Downeast Energy. We will do everything we can to find the problem.

One of our licensed heating system specialists will visit your home to assess the efficiency of your heating system. This may include:

• A burner efficiency test. How much of your fuel is being turned into heat and how much is going up the chimney? New systems operate at 83-86% efficiency. Even at 75% efficiency, your burner could be wasting a lot of your heating dollars.
• Inspection of your heating equipment. Is everything operating at peak efficiency?
• Inspection of your baseboard and ductwork. Is the heat getting to where you need it?
• A heat loss analysis. Is precious heat being lost?
• Properly adjusting your thermostat (T-87 thermostats only). If the calibration is off, the result can be a waste of fuel - or a chilly room.
